A title that rings a bell with job content that makes your mouth water. As an Inside Sales Engineer, you are the first point of contact for customers. If they have commercial or technical questions, you support them. Naturally, you can count on your colleagues from the field service and the technical department.
You do this mainly by phone. It is therefore important that you always ask targeted questions so that the customer’s problem is clearly defined. Whatever the problem, you know how to assist the customer with every question. By solving their questions yourself or by calling on colleagues from the field service or technical service.
You also maintain relationships with suppliers and request the necessary information to draw up correct quotations and set delivery deadlines. Here, too, your field service colleagues will assist you if necessary.

We do look for someone who takes initiative and is motivated to make the most of it for customers. Of course, some affinity with the sector is not out of place either. For us, it does not matter that you do not yet know everything about data centres and computer networks. What we do find important is that you are interested in what we do and that you would like to immerse yourself in this subject matter. If you have heard of Cisco, WiFi, fibre optics, KVM, CWDM/DWM and PDU, then you certainly have an edge.
Given the degree of responsibility in this position, it is best to have about three years’ experience in a similar position. Dutch-French bilingualism is also a must. If you also speak good English, you will have another plus!
